Comments: I have found that checking out the "reader's rides" section helps the best because usually owners will list who makes the parts they included in their artwork (the car). I wish I could remember where I got the awesome crystal clear red gauges I have though. I bought them brand new on ebay nearly 2 years ago, and haven't seen them since. The seller was a new one to me, but the product was really nice stuff. Also, look for companies that show their own cars on the site!!!! It shows they care too. My 3 favorites so far are PartsDinosaur.com, 3sxPerformance.com, and gofastgoodies.com.

Comments: I agree, as a proud new owner of a highly modified 92 3000gt vr4. I find locals around here in CT know zero. If there is a good one let me know. They all want to rape you and not point you in the right direction. I'm happy with my car though. A few details needed to be worked out. But I mean I got a front mt intercooler, with pipes that are a tight fit, 720cc injecters, split second arc 2 fuel controller, and dynamic racing 650r turbo's. The list is long and hard. A gtech says 396 all wheel HP at 17psi, is that kick ass??? Anyway nobody I know has one of these . HElp....

Comments: I get exactly what you mean. Being new to cars myself, I wouldn't have the slightest idea of how to do anything except the "take off and make sure you replace everything perfectly" method. When I bought a BOV kit from a company for more than the actual BOV, I expected to use everything that came with it. What did I actually end up needing out of it? Just the adaptor. I spent more for an adaptor than I did for the freaking bov. I'm definitally going to make sure from now on that I ask plenty of questions before I buy and I ask around to see if anyones ever gotten the product. Keep this up, its really helping out.

Comments: so true. my buddy bought a body kit for his accord off of a so called wholesaler. when the kit came in the front was an inch too long on either side, he got two right side side skirts, and when instaling the rear bumper, a section of fiberglass crumbled when it was touched. he only spent 400 on the kit, but to have it fixed cost annothr 800. so dont buy anything from sense motorsports.

Coilovers=$105, Front Strut Bar=$15, Flywheel=$265, Short Shifter=$25, Adjustable Shocks/Struts=$375, Header=$200! These are prices that I want to see for the 3/S platform.

When you look at all the candy that people put on this nice car; the cars all seem to look the same except for the color. Maybe this is because all the goodies come from the same place (humm?). I think we all need to take a good long look at our cars and dream a little more. Be more creative as to how you can make do with what you have around you in order to make the car a part of who you are. When you come up with some cool new way to mod your ride; keep it a secret for a while. Other cars owners will want to copy you, but will find out it's not in their catalog (dream book); YOU DA MAN! I own a 3000GT and a lot of the mods I've made (not all) have been hand crafted by me. I tought myself to weld and machine parts because what I came up with, I wanted so badly.
